Balthali Village Trek

Balthali Village tour is one of the best tourist destinations for those who are relatively looking for easy short & family trekking with children. This village is situated in panauti district about 40km away from Kathmandu. It offers a sunrise in the east, speculating Himalayan range of Manaslu, Langtang & Everest in the north, innumerable rice terraces in the west & huge bodied green forest of Mahabharat range in the South. One of the most important factors of this sport is that it is warm in the winter & cool in the summer. The area of Balthali is cover of various flora, colorful rhododendron forest, magnolia & sal trees.

Balthali Village is a perfect place for nature lovers & bird watchees. Nature lovers & birds watchers can spend days exploring & discovering some exceptional species of wildlife, different species of birds, tradition & culture untouched by modernity many of the sacred & ancient temples & monasteries such as Namobuddha, Indreshwor, Mahadev, Bramayani Temple are located in this region & still needs to be discovered & unveil its mysterious past.

Itinerary

Day 01: Meet kathmandu Airport & transfer to hotel.

Day 02: Sightseeing of Kathmandu: Full days sightseeing in Kathmandu valley includes the hindu temple complex at pashupatinath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) & the biggest Buddhist stupa at Boudhanath. Also Visit monkey temple at Swayambhunath (2000 years old temple) & visit an ancient city of Bhaktapur world heritage site. And Drive to Kathmandu Durbar Square meet with live Goddesh(Kumari), visit to the kashthamandap (a house made by one tree), Taleju temple, kalbhairav. After that go to Patan Durbar Square. See the famous Krishna temple & many more.

Day 03: Kathmandu – Dhulikhel to Namo Buddha & then to Balthali (2400m.). After working 3 hours with a view of local villages & nice terraces we will arrive to Namo Buddha a scared Buddhist place where Lord Buddha saved the life of a tiger from hunter, by giving him his flesh. From here another 3 hours plesant work will take you to the Balthali village at the altitude of 2100m. Overnight in a Balthali village resort.

Day 04: Explore around the Balthali village: You can explore around a typical Buddhist village Danda Gaun where a Buddhist community lives. Similarly we can have a majestic view of whole Himalayan ranges to north & beautiful green forest to Mahabharat range. After having a pleasant come back to resort.

Day 05: Balthali to Panauti (around 1400m.) & then to ktm. After breakfast continue walk to the typical newari village of panauti. This traditional newari settlement has a particularly rural character & a variety of form products are offered for sale throught out the town. Panauti boasts a large number of fascinating temples. This village is connected to our religion. In history they say that under the ground there is only one large stone on which Panauti village rests. There are also several years old temples, from here drive back to kathmandu.

Day 06: Free day in Kathmandu join Nepali cultural (singing 7 dancing) dinner.

Day 07: Final departure transfer to airport.
